Two weeks ago I updated my Windows 7 with Windows Update. I updated numerous software, about 500mb.

Black Screen on Dell U2410Extended Monitor when connected to HP Laptop

Sillilly, as I often do things, I have bought a Dell U2410 monitor to rig up with my HP laptop to use as an Extended Monitor. I hooked them up and no problems ensued. Split pci-e from PSU or one from PSU, one molex to pci-e?
On one of my desktops I have the pci-e from the PSU going into one socket and then being 'split' and going into the next. Do I replicate this for the one I'm building? Or should I just do the one from the PSU and a separate one converted via molex?

Sound level - Asus Strix gtx 970
Has anyone got / used a strix gtx 970 dc2oc? When the fans start moving, 40% speed or higher, the card is extremely loud. At 100% it sounds like a lawnmower. Is this to be expected in a high-end card, even when sources say it is quiet under load?
Initially there was a wire protruding between one of the fans, which made it even louder, but I have definitely moved any wires out of the way now....

Radeon HD5450-can i use fullscreen mirror on TV(theatre mode) in Win7?
After much experimentation years ago i found an older (Sapphire) AMD Catalyst driver that allowed it in XP X86. Weird display & screen freezing (but not in Safe Mode)

Help setting the right aspect ratio and screen resolution.
Okay I just got my pc built with a nice graphics card and everything, and bam an issue occurs. I seem to have issues with finding the right resolution.
